Magnetic field measurement
This page is updated every hour with new magnetic field measurements. This curve shows the last 11 hours
measurement. It is the results from a flux-gate magnetometer,
model FM100 with an upper frequency range of 0.5 Hz.
This system has not been functioning since January 30. It is something wrong in the computer which read the signals
from the mangetometer. It is a very old computer. We have plans in getting a new computer which can be installed instead.
This page shows the measured differences in the magnetic
fields around the measuring station. The time is presented in
UTC. The local time here in Norway is either UTC+02:00 or UTC+01:00.
