The automatic station in Hessdalen is made for getting data of the Hessdalen Phenomena.
The station is called the Blue Box, because it is in a blue container.
The Blue Box was priviously owned by Østfold University College, and run by Erling Strand.
Visit Hessdalen is the new owner of the Blue Box, since 2021.
The technical equipment inside the Blue Box is old and not stable. Visit Hessdalen want to upgrade everything.
With better equipment, the station will be more capable of capturing data of the Hessdalen Phenomena.
Visit Hessdalen do also cover the costs of running the station.
They need economic support to upgrade and run the Blue Box station.
The more economic support, the better instruments and cameraes will be in the station, and
the more exciting will it be to look at the latest data coming into www.hessdalen.org
