This picture is from Friday 14.August 1998, at 00:04:58 (five minutes past midnight).
The light to the left is the floodlights of the church in Hessdalen. It is the light in the upper part of the picture,
which shows the unknown light.
The color is put there by the software, just to tell that it was this light that
made it take action. (The picture is from a black-and-white camera)
The video-record start about 2-4 seconds after the picture is taken. The videotape do not show
any lightphenomena. The light was dissappeared before the video-recorder did start. The tape has only
a 15 seconds record of the night.
If the light has come from the north or the south, it has moved very fast.
It might also be that it was illuminating only a very short time. (impossible to tell what, when there
was nothing on the tape).
The form is easyer to see if the light is enlarged.
It was no aeroplanes above Hessdalen at that moment.
Planets is not on this part of the sky at that time.
We have not yet found any explanation on what this light is.
It is still unexplained.
Then it is the Hessdalsphenomena.
