Date: 10.01.1988 Time: 07:00 pm Place: Hessdalslia
Observers: Angerd and Hilmar Gildseth and one morel
The observers drove from Hessdalen to Aringlen.
When they were in Hessdalslia they saw a light towards the northern end of the "plateau" at Hammerkneppen.
It shone brightly in red and white, and they believed they saw the actual light source. It reminded
of a car turning out onto the edge of the plate, which is impossible.
It lit up as if it were headlights.
They stopped the car and went out to observe, but drove on after a while, while the light source was still there.
When they arrived in Aringle they met Per Busk. They mentioned what they had seen to him.
He said that he had also seen this light, but thought it was "lightning"(?)
The temperature was between 0°C and -5°C
Ref. Angerd Gildseth.
Date: 10.01.1988 Time: 05:00 pm Place: Hessdalen
Observers: Bjarne and Bjørn Lillevold
The observers were going to drive to Ålen and then they saw a light to the northwest
"over" Haltdalen. This light flickered or blinked. A plane came
from the south and then the light went out, and lit up again when the plane was out of sight in the north.
