Observers: Halvard Bakås..
I was driving from Ålen and had come up to Hessdalskjølen when I saw a light on the other side of the valley, towards
Vårhuskjølen. At first I thought it was a snowmobile standing there with its light on, but then I thought it must be a
light from a cabin on Finnsådalen. I have since been told that there had been no snowmobiles there that night, nor any
people on any of the cabins. (And by the way, we don't see any of these from Hessdalskjølen either).
I hadn't heard anything about UFOs at the time, so I didn't think much about what I saw.
But the light was there anyway and looked like a light from a light bulb. I don't know how long it was there.

Date: 12.10.1981 Time: 07:20 PM Place: Ålen
Observers: Ole Lillevold
A large, illuminated helicopter-shaped object came from the northwest over øvre Ålen at 19:20
at an altitude of about 200 meters. It stopped for about half a minute, changed direction to the southwest about, 200 meters, stopped, disappeared towards
Killingdal mines at a very high speed. It was cloudy.

Date: xx.09.1981 Time: 11:00 PM Place: Støren
Observers: Olaf Hansen
The object was low in the terrain, at the same level as the mountain on the other side of the valley where we live.
There could not have been any lights from a train or car, as there was no traffic at that time.
We followed it with our eyes the whole time, and saw it swerve down the valley over Støren station,
where it disappeared behind a mountain, which blocked our view.
The object was wider in front, and narrower in the back.
White and blue light.

Date: xx.01.1981 (Thursday) Time: 11:00 pm Place: Trøen, Ålen
Observers: George Trøen, his sister and one more.
This observation was made twice, one week apart. It was exactly the same path each time.
It was a light that passed slowly across, following the ridge. It suddenly disappeared. It was seen
in the direction of the west, and it disappeared when it was in the northwest. It was about the size of a star.
It was seen for 10 minutes, from 11:00 PM to 11:10 PM.
