The girls were 13 and 11 years old, and were going to spend the night completely alone in the cottage for the first time.
Marit writes in the report: "I saw a UFO for the first time at lake Øyungen in August 1967. We sat in a cottage and played cards
by a window with a great view of lake Øyungen. At eleven o'clock in the evening we saw a light on the field
above Langsåvika (on the other side of Øyungen). We could not understand; what this was because
there were no roads or houses/huts where the light pulsated. Suddenly it became huge. Yes, like a house
which was on fire. The light changed several times from quite small (outdoor lamp) to this enormous light. Finally, it sort of pulled together and relieved.
It took direction over "Skarvan6QUOT; and disappeared on the sky.
This made such an impression on us, and filled us with such anxiety that we ran from Øyoung to Ålen that night.
We tried to tell our parents about what we had experienced, but we were never quite believed. "

I have been interested in the starry sky since I was a boy. So when I am out in nature you can
experience the silence and can then concentrate on your surroundings.
It was on the evening of October 1967 I was standing and studying the evening sky. Suddenly I see an inexplicable light.
It was like a floodlight of about 100 kilowatts. It stood completely still. I discussed it with my wife and we came to
that we should not say anything.
Then in November 1969 we experienced the same thing, but then there were 2 lights and in a different direction. When we
then followed these lights we came to the conclusion that it was something we had never seen before.
I would have liked to have had a verbal conversation.
